How much will I need to invest for my treatment with Philip?

Please enquire within the region you are booking in for actual costs as they vary depending on locality.

As a rule, Philip endeavours to keep your costs as sustainable as possible throughout your treatment, although functional testing will require retesting at different stages, increasing costs over time.

Retesting is done in a controlled fashion with the patient in mind. Philip chooses only the proper tests for the type of action required at any one time. The same goes for herbal and nutritional prescriptions.

There should never be a time when you haven’t had a prescription or a test explained adequately. If you find yourself in this position, please contact Philip directly or email us at getintouch@philipwatkins.health.

Is Philip accepting new patients at the moment?

Due to current numbers, Philip accepts new patients in Hong Kong and a limited number of virtual patients (numbers are capped due to time zone commitments).

How can I make an appointment with Philip?

If you live locally in Hong Kong, please contact reception at the Integrated Medicine Clinic on +852 2523 7121 between 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

For virtual patients, if you have been a patient of Philips through IMI previously, please contact IMI directly via reception@imi.com.hk, and a member of staff will be able to help you.

For all other bookings, please contact getintouch@philipwatkins.health for information on how to book your appointment that suits your time zone.

I live in the UK, Australia, Europe, the USA or the Middle East; how do I make an appointment with Philip?

For virtual patients, if you have been a patient of Philip’s through IMI previously, please contact IMI directly via reception@imi.com.hk, and a member of staff will be able to help you.

For all other bookings, please contact getintouch@philipwatkins.health for information on how to book your appointment that suits your time zone.

I would like to see Philip virtually; what do I need to know?

With the advent of Zoom, Skype, and Facetime, virtual consultations are now in HD and face-to-face, depending on your internet connection.

Before your initial consultation, a staff member will send through an intake form before the session begins.

Based on your preference, payment for the session will be made either through Paypal or Stripe, with a 50% deposit taken before the initial consultation.

Prescriptions will be completed via a localised online dispensary, depending on your location. You’ll receive an email with a link to fulfil this prescription as part of your consultation, and this will allow you to go to the appropriate platform, organise payment and have your prescription couriered to your door. In some cases, this will be only a matter of 24-48 hours.

Email communication is encouraged with online and in-person patients but more so in the virtual space, and reply times vary but will be no more than 24 hours depending on the query. Let’s be honest if you send an A4 long email of questions, it may take a little to reply!

How long is my initial consultation with Philip?

Initial consultations last 1 hour, and follow up sessions will generally run from 30-45 minutes.

Consultations to assess test results will be 45 minutes to cover all the necessary content and protocols.

How frequently will I need to see Philip throughout my treatment?

Follow up sessions range from weekly, fortnightly to monthly, depending on the condition. For example, hormonal treatments will often be monthly, digestive disorders, fortnightly and mental health and sleep, weekly. These examples are not straightforward and do depend on outcomes.

Can I access functional testing such as Digestive, Hormone, DNA, SIBO and Organic Acid testing if I am a virtual patient?

Yes, patients in Australia, the UK, the USA, Europe and the Middle East should essentially have access to all forms of functional testing available.

This access could be dependent on local laws within your region that dictate sending biological samples.

Does Philip see children?

Philip does see children, mainly in person, at IMI in Hong Kong.

Virtual patients can book in after a small discussion around what needs to be treated, as sometimes a referral to someone in the local area may be more prudent.

Please contact us at getintouch@philipwatkins.health for more information.

Testimonials

  • "I finally had a diagnostic to work with. I was so happy with the lack of pain and getting sleep at night that I embarked on a 6 month protocol. It was the first time in years that I saw any relief and progress."

  • "He does not silo the physical from the mental and approaches things in a very holistic manner. I really found this invaluable as I feel a number of my complaints were not only driven by physical triggers but also emotional/mental triggers."

  • "Philip took his time to explain what was possibly going on. Philip also took the time to digest the results of a recent annual medical, a recent allergy test and a genetic test. This level of care and attention was highly appreciated."
